CHINO HILLS, CA – March 12, 2020
LegalConnect®, a premium legal technology company, today announced its partnership with the Continuing Education of the Bar (“CEB”), California’s leading law publisher and continuing legal education provider, to serve as the company’s integrated eFiling solution for California eFiling courts. This partnership enables CEB’s customers to seamlessly launch and manage eFilings directly from CEB’s Judicial Council Forms product, Essential Forms™, using LegalConnect’s eFiling application programming interface (“API”). With the software integration already complete, CEB customers will now be able to use Essential Forms to eFile directly with Los Angeles Superior Court, with more court integrations via LegalConnect to come in 2020 and beyond.
“CEB was founded to help California attorneys succeed in the practice of law by providing them with the information and tools most relevant to their area of practice, and we believe this combination of Essential Forms with LegalConnect’s eFiling integration to California courts offers attorneys an extremely powerful productivity tool,” said Nell Petri, Director, Business Portfolio of CEB. “We are finding new ways to integrate our content with software and solutions that can save attorneys valuable time and allow them to focus on serving their clients.”
“At LegalConnect, we are focused on how we can maximize law firms’ business outcomes such as increasing operational efficiency, improving cost control and helping them better serve their clients,” said Jeff Ellis, EVP of Sales and Business Development at LegalConnect. “Moreover, we’re always looking for opportunities to fulfill our vision of connecting the legal community for seamless electronic document, information and payment exchange. The LegalConnect-CEB partnership helps us to achieve these objectives and further solidify ourselves in the burgeoning legal technology ecosystem. LegalConnect is currently integrated with courts in 36 California counties including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Orange County, so we’re excited to offer CEB’s Essential Forms clients access to California’s rapidly expanding court eFiling landscape via LegalConnect’s API.”
